The ICKB Girls are a team of five
women dedicated to the art of kettlebell
lifting and the spirit of competition.
They come from various backgrounds
and ages united in their passion for the
sport. Two of the ICKB Girls are
mothers of young children while
another draws strength from raising
two teenage boys. All of the ladies
have full-time lives outside of
kettlebells and yet they continue to
sacrifice much of their limited free time
to practice and advance as a team. As
a result, their hard work has propelled
them to levels they never dreamed
possible.
After two intense years of training, the ICKB Girls participated in over 10 major Kettlebell Sport
events around the world with impressive results, capturing 16 medals in 2009: 12 Gold, 3 Silver,
1 Bronze. In November 2009 at the American Kettlebell Club Classic in Las Vegas, Jessica
DiBiase became the 1st American Female Master of Sport in the Long Cycle.
Kettlebell Sport Sponsorship
Given their dedication and track record thus far, the ICKB Girls will continue to
deliver their absolute best. They are working towards earning a Master of Sport
ranking in all categories of kettlebell lifting. With your support, we can help these
inspiring women realize that dream very soon.
Up to this point, the team has solely been financed by the resources contributed by
the ladies themselves as well as by their coaches at the Ice Chamber. Now however,
there is a unique opportunity to sponsor this amazing team. Athleta, APT Pro Lifting
Gear, and Mahler's Aggresisive Strength generously contributed for the team’s
upcoming events, but the ICKB Girls still greatly need help covering airfare, hotel,
and registration fees in order to participate in costly trips away from home. All
proceeds (100%) from our sponsors will go directly to these amazingly deserving
ladies.
ICKB Girls are currently training for the WKC World Championships in Chicago in the Fall of 2010.
