IC Kettlebell Girls on Top of the World

The 2010 World Kettlebell Lifting Championship took place in Chicago on August 7th. Once again, the Ice Chamber Kettlebell Girls (2009 sponsored athletes) went home with a pocket full of hard-earned medals. Click here to see the video recap, and note the incredibly graceful technique as these ladies lift between 12kg (26 lbs) and 24kg (53 lbs) weights, competing for the most repetitions in a 10 minute timeframe.

A special shout out to Ice Chamber Kettlebell student Karen (age 60), who stole the hearts of everyone by becoming the World Kettlebell Club’s 1st National Champion in the Senior Women’s Division.
