We are now recovering from a long weekend of training! We apologize to the Core group for missing the Sand Bag mile, but we understand that Bear, JD, and Kenny took great care of you. We were with you in spirit. ;-)

Valery, along with Catherine Imes, will be at the Ice Chamber next Saturday for the West Coast WKC Coach Certification. For those of you interested, please be sure to complete your Fitness Trainer License prerequisite on Friday, September 24th at 12pm. We look forward to seeing you all.

IC Kettlebell Members:  Please note that Kettlebell Lifting class will be cancelled on Saturday, September 24th.  The make-up class will be this Thursday, September 23rd, at 6:30pm.   Core class on Thursday night will run concurrently.

IC Core Members:  We will be running the Sandbag Mile on Saturday, September 24th.  Please meet in the parking lot promptly at 10am.

Valery Fedorenko does 116 reps of OALC using the 40kg bell in 10 minutes. Even though he is switching hands on the minute, that’s still roughly 12 rpm.  Extremely difficult to accomplish at any weight class.

Maya and Surya with 15x World Champion Fedor Fuglev

The ladies are back from the World Kettlebell Club’s Ukrainian Sport Camp hosted at the historic training facility of 15x World Champion, Fedor Fuglev (who is 48 years of age by the way, but wait till you see the stuff he does).  With more than 24 hours of travel time and 4 flights to get home, they are a bit jet lagged, but full of immense gratitude for their incredible experience.  Maya and Surya promise to chronicle their most amazing excursion to date on the ICKB site very soon.  Until then, here is a video of their once in a lifetime adventure to the Black Sea.
