Yes!Yes! Yes!
Congratulations IS team. I am lucky enough to get to train as the same time as this amazing team and ride the amazing wave of electricity they produce. Battle cries, back slapping, barbells clanking, weights flying around like frisbees, intense focused energy….I love to soak it in!
Congratulations are your incredible results!! State records broken, a hell of a lot of weight lifted all the result of dedicated, consistent, and positive training.
So proud of you all!!
Wow!! Was it just me or did they make that look to easy. Very impressive work IS team and huge congrats on all your hard work. Hope you got to celebrate afterwards.
Big time thanks to my fellow IC Industrial Strength Team Members, both those at the meet and those that had to miss this meet for various reasons (such as injury for Nick and Elsa, and a forthcoming baby for Jared and Tivonna).
And it goes without saying, big time thanks to Steven, our Coach (and to JD and the rest of the crew at the IC).
You ALL, in your own ways, have helped to push me to new levels of performance and confidence.
I especially appreciated the support and counsel yesterday, after I missed my first squat lift.
I look forward to our next meet in April!
I’m such a sap, I have tears in my eyes, due to your hard work and dedication. Congrats to all on team ICIS!
I had the privilege of watching these guys lift yesterday for a short time, they are all so fierce and focused! And they really are a team, giving each other support and words of confidence throughout. I’m so impressed with everyone’s hard work and big efforts, yay!!
Congratulations to the IS team! Great performances by each one of you! You guys are rockstars. Hopefully now that meet is over you will say hi to me again.
Maybe give me an autograph?
Wow, just wow! jaw on floor over here. So impressive everyone!
Successful day thanks to coach steve, jd and team, our awesome gym and its members, friends / family, back slaps, yells, adrenaline-inducing thoughts, and especially teammates that support and motivate. I am filled with gratitude to be a part of this special community and can’t wait to gorge this week on turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. There’s lots to be grateful for this gobble gobble giving. Thanks IC!!
Wow, congratulations everybody!!! I have loved hearing/watching you train over the past couple of weeks, and am so happy for everyone that all the hard work resulted in broken records and PR’s. The IC is such an inspiring community of athletes!
Sherry – Holy crap!!! Wow. I wish I could be more eloquent – just so happy, and thrilled for each one of you.
Congratulations IS team! I am so proud of you guys and can’t wait to join you at the meet next November!
Those are some BIG TIME numbers the IS team put up! Congrats for all your strong work you all earned it. Good work Steve on getting the team prepared. I know how important good coaching and solid technique helps us take those incremental steps. can’t wait to get back in the gym with all of you.
Congratulations Team IC! Your dedication is inspiring. So proud – you killed it!!
What a fantastic experience! This is our third powerlifting meet, and each one is more fun than the last. I can say without question that training with the IS group is the highlight of my week and I can’t wait to get back in the gym and do it all over again. A huge thank you goes out to Steven and Maya and JD for getting us ready and thanks to everyone for all of the encouragement and support. We are very, very lucky to have a community like this.
Nick, Jared and Elsa, you were missed and we’re looking forward to seeing you back on the platform in April.
And to the strongest member of the Cord household, Jen my love thank you for letting me indulge in a sport that encourages overeating, lifting insanely heavy objects off the floor for no apparent reason, and wearing a singlet. You’re the best!
WOW – You are all amazing, dedicated athletes!
CONGRATULATIONS!
Matt – LOL, gotta love the last part of your comment!
I’m impressed! Great job to all of you!!
I am beaming with pride seeing the IS team excel
and continually breaking new PRs on and off the platform. All you have worked so hard and have truly been an inspiration in my training. Congratulations to Steven and everyone for another amazing meet!!
Missing all of you terribly!!
Elsa: Loredie, Amy and I miss you too and think about you often when doing math calculations, making sure the bench lines up exactly with the bar
More than than, we miss your positive energy when faced with heavy loads. Hope you’ll be back to join us soon!!
Aw, thank you Sherry. That is very sweet. I miss the encouragement, challenges and most of all the friendships as we bond over lifting heavy weights because they are there
It has been very hard to be away from the IC and all of you!!
Good Work Everyone! Awesome performance and way to represent the Ice Chamber and show how all the hard work and long work outs pay off. Excellent job all around and congragulations!

That’s inspiring. Congrats to all.
You are missed Elsa!
