Sit-up and Stand Complex

A great exercise for the rectus abdominis, hip flexors, and quadriceps. It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3 but also deceivingly difficult.

I love these pictures because they scream “MUSCLES” to me! Look at those two fit, strong bodies! Amazing.
Jill looks like she could do a double somersault over her partner and cartwheel back into her starting position
i’m pretty sure the reason why jill is demoing this exercise here is because she is the only one who can do it with no hands! she is incredible!!!
Great technique as always.
I tried this with Virginia holding my feet. I kept grabbing the top of her head to pull myself up. She didn’t like that. I am not fond of this exercise, but can appreciate its benefits.
Oh no Roxanne, you must not grab the head. Not a good idea.
I got back @ her– held the ankles so hard she got bruises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
