Thanks for running this challenge. Using my starting and finishing weights, I calculated that I lost 17 pounds of fat during the challenge. That’s a lot of weight that I don’t have to lug around anymore. I thank you, and my knees thank you!

Go IC. This place is cool. Last week we had national KB champions. Pull up challenge next week. Then what, pie-eating contest?
This was a great opportunity to take IC bad-assedness to the next level, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Like Craig, I have a lot less fat to lug around (19lbs.!), and I feel SO much better. What a great gift. Really, I am in better shape than I have ever been in my life. I want to give kudos to everyone who participated, and special props to those of us in the hovering around 50 years old range (YOU know what I’m talking about)! …And, big thanks to the 9am class. Your endless support and encouragement was really wonderful, and helpful… Thank you Steve and Maya for the inspiration, AND, a month of bootcamp!! What a great surprise! Yay for all!
Kudos to all who lost anything, even one ounce! I really appreciated this event because it opened a helpfully frank and honest conversation about food, and that awareness alone helped me out. (BTW- I was going to drop out, but weighed in at the last minute (because nobody was around) and was surprised to discover I lost weight and body fat!) Thanks especially to Steve who said (when I didn’t want to enter), “You’re not going to gain weight.” And he was right.
Wonderful that you offered prizes to all top five! Thanks for doing that. Some of us were starting to wonder how you were going to get middle-aged women to keep entering these competitions (with men in their 20s!), and I don’t know about the other bootcamps, but 9 am is full of fabulous women well into their middle years! I just turned … well, my birthday was yesterday and the number is really disconcertingly large now! Thanks, Steve, and all you ICers. Lovin’ it.
