Learn by Walking

Kettlebell sport requires skill and accuracy. A great way to improve the stationary rack and overhead position is by walking it. These two drills provide general proprioceptive adaptation as well as sport specific nervous system training.
Eddie Jr. and Surya worked hard to keep the elbow on top of the iliac crest while moving.

we had a kettlebell workout this a.m. and i’ve got to quibble with the new pink kettlebells. it seems to me that pink should be for the heaviest biggest baddest kettlebells around–not the lightest. why are pink and purple always the lightest? wouldn’t it be cool for people to be in awe that you used “the pink ones” let’s get out the spray paint and make the 32kg baby pink! anyone else feel this way?

I was thinking the same thing. I think the “mighty pinks” should be at least 32kg. The “stanford reds” should be 16kgs, and the “cal blues” should be 24kg.
yay for kettlebell this AM and a huge thanks to Kristin, I finally got it! By the last long cycle my clean was solid and didn’t hurt one bit. finally.
I’m *so* using a pink kettlebell Wednesday night! I’ll just pretend it’s badass.
After back-to-back kettle bell workouts yesterday, I am reserving a pink for Wednesday night. Do I get extra points if my clothes match?
