Heidy with KB

Kettlebell Sport is physically grueling and mentally punishing. This is why Heidy loves it.

By the way, if you think Kettlebell Sport is just for big buff dudes, you haven’t seen this video.

Great News from Boise, ID

Ann-Maree

annmaree

Ann-Maree is one of our toughest 7 a.m. bootcampers–she even runs from her house to class in the dark. We’ve been fans for a while, so we made her answer all our questions. And a special message to her husband: We will now help Ann Maree meet her next goal, so watch out!

-What brought you to the Ice Chamber?

I was out of shape due a long period of inactivity and was very unhappy with how I felt. I really needed something to motivate me to exercise and bootcamp seemed like the perfect answer.

-Did you do anything athletic before?

I used to hike and mountain bike a lot, and go waterskiing whenever I got the chance.

-Have you had any major successes/breakthroughs athletically?

My fitness has improved significantly and allowed be to participate in some trail running events. I never thought I would actually enjoy running, but now I find myself running regularly and even trying to improve my time.

-What are your current goals or dreams as far as exercise?

To be able to lift a kettlebell as skillfully as Maya. And to beat my husband in a burpee challenge.

-Anything else we should know or that you wanna add?

Yes, that I’m very glad that I joined the IC. It’s such a wonderful environment full of friendly, inspiring people.

The Pressure is On

Julie and Leslie

When Captain Rune is coaching, you better listen. Notice any extra bit of intensity on the faces of Julie B. and Leslie Price? Well, let’s just say that these ladies were on fire yesterday, smoking the circuit and then some.

If YOU ever need a little push, just ask Rune :-)

robyn

We are all very sad to lose Robyn, one of our most dedicated bootcampers. She’s heading off to Los Angeles later today (permanently) and we’re honored that she spent her remaining hours in the Bay here with us this morning. We’ll miss you dearly Robyn!

Like your typical spa day, except the ladies traded stone massages, manicures, and essential oils for bruises, blisters, and chalk.

Another VIP treatment at “Club-Bell.”
