Pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes, collard greens, HAM, seafood dressing, and lots and lots of lumpia!

What I plan to do is to throw myself on the mercy of Mani, Kelly, Maya and Steve at 6am on Monday and start my repentance…(“mercy” really does not belong in the same sentence as those folks, actually)….

    Cry!

I would be eating more today but the dog we are babysitting ate our leftovers from the counter when we weren’t looking~so that takes care of that! no more for me!

    Work harder!

Luckily, my parents are really healthy people– so our dinner was scrumptious, yet MOSTLY guilt-free: turkey, cranberry relish, green beans, yams, and spinach salad. My two guilty pleasures were a small serving of corn bread stuffing and a modest piece of apple pie.

I was shocked when my BF % was down today!! Thanks for offering a “day after” workout! It was great to get up for it this morning.

    That’s HILARIOUS about the dog…

Any good suggestions for left-over turkey?

Do people gain 5 lbs in a day? People do. We did attempt to incorporate exercise into our indulgence. I call it the 16 oz curl.

  7. Jen G. says:

Maybe I’m lucky that certain members of my family make me lose my appetite!

  8. Baby Ks Momma says:

5lbs. are easy to gain with Tsan’s ginger cake around! That half is SO gone!!!

I ate more carbs on Thanksgiving than I have in the past almost year. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, spinach torte, bread and cheese, wine, pecan pie, ice cream.

BUT, I sent all of the leftovers home with my step-girls. And then rode my bike all the way up Spruce and Grizzly Peak and some other big-ass hill.

  10. Steven says:

I’m paying the price for eating Tsan’s ginger cake. Ouch.

Since I have to lose 10 lbs by New Year’s Eve, and since I was doing the cooking for Thxgiving, I made all the usual carb-y goodness for friends and fam; roast garlic smashed potatoes, sweet potatoes with marshmallows (Ben insists), cheese and baguette, blackberry pie, ollalaberry pie, punkin pie all with many pints of Haagendazs and vanilla whipped cream.

    None of which I ate.

I made wheatberry barley pilaf to eat instead of potatoes, and apple crisp with no sugar for desert. No gravy, no whipped cream, no bread, one spoonful of stuffing.

We’ll see what the scales have to say for my effots.

Steve you’re not insinuating that I ate the other half, are you?
