Mattison at the Huntington Beach Surf City 18 Gold Showcase, an event which attracts collegiate coaches each year who are scouting top high school players from the Western States. Mattison went 6 for 12 at the plate, earning a .500 batting average, and a stand-up triple. Yes!
Congratulations Mattison, your hard work is paying off!! All in the family…like father, like daughter!! You are one lucky dad Elliot, to have a daughter who is beautiful, focused and very determined.
Matti rocks! I am lucky to have such a great daughter, and we are both lucky to have the IC in our lives — a place that helps us become what we want to be! I can still hear the sound of Matti’s bat hitting the ball on that triple and my own screaming at the top of my lungs as she was sprinting around the bases. Memories like that last forever.

I was thinking, maybe it’s time to set up a “Father – Daughter Workout Challenge” at the IC? It would be a blast.

Matti really does have it all–looks, brains (she’s a top student in science and math at her very tough school), and muscle. and she’s sweet. go figure! yay, Mattison!
