Heart of a Champion

Kate showed tremendous heart this morning, pushing through the last 100 meters of pure hell. This kind of determination and tenacity is a recipe for success.
Speaking of success, Jeremy just edged up to 2nd place this morning by beating his own time by 12 seconds!

Kate, you’re awesome, I am so glad someone caught your sheer look of determination!
I love the camaraderie with these folks behind you!
That is a great photo finish! Kate you are an inspiration.
Congrats to all the ICers that are working so hard to compete in the challenge.
Thank you for fighting for that finish Kate.
Props to everyone who participated in the challenge this morning. Go Jeff and Jeremy! Shari, we told you that you could do 7–you just needed some competitive encouragement (well that, and Kelly’s coaching of course!)
I have to say, thinking about doing 7 was harder than actually doing them. Not that it was easy – pure hell in fact. But, I could have done without all the consternation, self-defeatism and butterflies.
Kate,
Your evolution is revolutionary! I remember your first day. Thank you for participation and determination.
Oh yeah…I remember Kate’s first day too, and now look at you!! You have the heart and dedication of a champion Kate!
And congratulations to everyone who participated in the challenge, you guys keep raising the bar!
