Heidy and Sara ran the Angel Island 12K last weekend. It was Heidy’s first time on this race, but Bear-Bear beat her previous record by 10 minutes! Nice.

Many Bootcampers are curious about Core workouts. Well, here’s your chance to check it out. We invite all current Bootcampers to join us for a free workout with the Core group this Saturday, August 25th at 10 a.m.
Come celebrate the end of August as the kids head back to school.
In addition to the sweat and agony, freshly brewed Peet’s coffee will be served (with real cream this time). If you’re interested, please email us at info@icechamber.com so we can get an accurate headcount for the caffeine order.

Bonus: the first Flex Access or Morning Bootcamper to name all three Core members in the picture will receive a new IC T-Shirt.

One of the best rewards from changing your fitness level is your newfound desire to try exciting uncharted (for you, at least!) adventures. Dedicated IC’ers have been known to endeavor outdoors to take up water sports, rock climbing, triathlons, and mountainous trekking after months of training in the gym.
This time it’s Eric Frothingham, who’s been MIA for a few weeks because he was busy meandering through Wyoming’s Wind River Range with over 40 pounds on his back. Lovely! Next time you see Eric make sure to ask him about some of the highlights from his trip. Perhaps you’ll feel propelled to visit a few undiscovered places in your own heart.

While on knee rehab, Turbo has a new position of authority at the Ice Chamber. She is now an official time keeper, DJ, and integrity barometer. Be sure to be on your best behavior when Turbo is on duty.

The IC’s favorite fire captain Rune Hoyer-Nielsen with son Haakon at the Chamber (last month) and buddy Neo at the beach (now). We await the return of the Hoyer-Nielsen family!
Our Saturday Core group goes Neolithic.

Throwing boulders, crushing skulls, and cleaning rubble… Should all hell break loose, we know this crew would survive.
