What in the World?
Thursday night proving ground.
Tracy working the shoulder gauntlet.
Shari mimicking the Iditarod.
Anthony and Rune testing the slack line.
Elisha fighting the super band.

The fun never ceases.

Therese, I’m still cracking up at your Iditarod reference!!! Perfect analogy there. To the Thursday night crew in the house last night: you guys are awesome. I’m so grateful I snapped out of my crabbiness (forgive me y’all) in time to enjoy seeing you all in action. SOOOO FUN!
woof!
I LOVED last night’s workout. Time flies when you are moving from one station to the next and one minute is the perfect amount of time to exhaust you on each and every thing.
I also love how the angle of that first picture makes my body look extra tiny but my head look strangely large – I wonder if Echidna and I have been eating the same thing?
Last night ROCKED! One minute sounded like a long time but it was perfect, like Tracy said, to let you feel powerful in your movements before you are humbled by muscle failure.
Steve and Maya, I know you are exhausted and I promise you that someday, Mateo will sleep (and you will too, sort of). But your sleeplessness has clearly given you extra time to come up with extremely evil and incredibly fun “toys.” Hmmm… this sounds a lot like Kelly’s “make your weakness a strength.”
You guys are fun! Thank you for giving me the inspiration to develop new toys. I like finding new ways to challenge Rune, keep Shari’s mind busy, provide team workouts for comrades like Bear and Tracy and keep the usual Thursday night suspects like Jessie, Surya, Elisha, Renee, Tony, Kelly, Doug, Elizabeth, Anthony, and Mani entertained. Whoa, you guys are high maintenance!
Tracy, you always look tiny! Where have you been? Your bloggin’ homies missed you.
Ok-Rune told me how fun last night was, and I’m so sorry to have missed it. I was not allowed to go for fear that 3 IC workouts in one day would be too much-braggin , yes, but I remember when I could only do 2x a week! That said, it looks like so much fun! Thursday nights are great, Steve and Maya, you never seemed tired to me,always giving us great energy and the workouts are fun, interesting and challenging. And Rune came home loving it. Just the other day he said doing a hose pull, up hill at work was no problem! He’s definitely moving into another sphere. Yesterday was an emotional day for him, ( the firefighters’ who died have their huge memorial service today that Rune is part of) and thankful for the great workouts to take his energy out.
SO we are high maintenance-but so worth it! THANKS!
Renee and Rune, our thoughts/prayers are with all the local firefighters and their families at the Concord Pavilion today. You guys are real life superheroes.
Steve, if we are high maintenance, you have only yourself to blame;) you keep coming up with these great activities…we don’t call you the ‘evil genius’ for nothing!
And if you and Maya are tired…you guys are the best actors in the world…I don’t notice anything except the encouragement you both throw at us.
thanks Maya, as always…encouraging words.
That was a kick-ass workout!
