OK- Groove in is in the Heart is just Classic, my all time favorite!! And Mary J Blige.....it gives good women energy to the sets. Lenny Kratvitz for when you want to work those sexy glutes and abs (because ya never know when you might stumble across meeting Lenny someday, gotta look fine).
I think some of those fab En Vogue songs from the 90's need to be on rotation...Didn't they go to Skyline High, too?
just getting back home...see you guys soon.

Let's make an IC power song compilation. (Steve's house beats are prohibited. Wait, apparently Boy George songs are too.)

I am with you about the need for a good beat when I am working out alone. I just rediscovered Born Slippy (Nuxx) (1995) by Underworld and have been burning extra calories on that for the past two weeks.

You should ask Zaretta to jump rope for you. It's like a dance.

Music is so key....
But music is mostly Douglas's realm...
He put Regina Spektor on my Nano to help me run... its the only thing that inspires me enough to do ANY exercise without all you wonderful IC people.

We DEFINITELY miss Zaretta when she is not around... she brings so much positive energy to the early riser group.

Why is "Groove is in the Heart" (Dee-lite) such a power song at the IC? The energy just changes when that song comes on. Same thing when any Timbaland song starts...

I agree, music motivates me. The Beastie Boys, Pit Bull, E40, NWA, and anything with a mean beat helps me get through any Ice Chamber workout. If you see me with my head phones on you know what I am listening to, shake your booty music. ..Lol
