Strange Days

Etta and Neo

Take a close look. It’s actually not Paintbrush‘s brother Mao. It’s the infamous Neo of the Hoyer-Nielsen family. Besides being a gentle giant and cuddle cake, Neo’s professional job is to produce puppies for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. A true stud, he is often found in the IC office sleeping in Paintbrush‘s bed after long days at work.

Take a closer look. That’s actually not Renee handling him.

Hey, it works! Working out at the IC is making me look younger and younger every day! Thanks to all the trainers!

  2. Jennifer M. says:

    Total regression, Renee! ;-)
On another note, I can speak to the wonders of the Guide Dogs program. My boyfriend adopted a puppy from them that was “booted” from their program because of a small orthopedic problem. Stetson is a total doll (80 lb. 2 y.o. yellow lab). Now if only they could teach them to shed less…

  3. Jennifer M. says:

PS – is Neo a purebred black lab?

  4. Renee says:

yup-Neo is a pruebred black lab. He (well his girls, or “dates” as Guide Dogs likes to call it) had 35 puppies last year. So he’s off probation. It’s a crazy science going on there! His next 2 litters are due at the end of April. He is a gentle giant at 80lbs. one of the bigger studs!

  5. Shari says:

For the record – I do not dress my child; she picks her own outfits. I take no credit for the nightgown and snowboots in the middle of a perfectly beautiful April day.

Etta thinks Neo lays in Paintbrushes bed because Neo is crushing on Paintbrush.

  6. Kerri says:

    what cuties!!!

  7. Steven says:

    Two of my favorites :-)

  8. Steven says:

    Shari,

Etta looks like you in this pic!

  9. Shari says:

    Must be the boots.

  10. Baby Ks Momma says:

Etta has grown so much since we first met her. I miss her!

  11. Shari says:

    She misses you too!
