7 a.m. Brigade

As the sun rises over the horizon, the 7 a.m. bootcampers begin their steady march/lunge towards athletic perfection. Undaunted by the three long rounds of push-press lunges and the fact that the stop sign seems to be getting farther away with every step, they soldier on. The early morning light shines on their faces, and they greet the dawning day with courage and fortitude. Just one look at their noble expressions makes one wonder what inspirational thoughts are running through their heads right now…
(Perhaps “What on earth possessed me to pick up these dumbbells? It looked like an easy workout! Next time I’m definitely going lighter. Oh curse you, Ice Chamber!”)

now that was a great class!!!!
And I thought 6am was a large group. 7am is a Borg takeover.
Yeah…
How about a 5am class?… we’ll take over the WORLD and the clock.

I’d be thinking inspiring thoughts like “Oh please God, if I fall over, I hope I fall forward so I will have to do one less lunge”. “Maybe I should stumble a bit when I stand up so I can get a few steps closer to the stop sign.”
Maybe that’s why you never see me at 7a.m. I will not be assimilated!
