Barbell Bent Row

Friends, Romans, countrymen… Christina takes her workout to the next level by reenacting a scene from Gladiator. With muscles rippling and dust swirling, it’s all about “strength and honor.” If you look closely, you can see a scowling Joaquin Phoenix just behind the punching bag. Will she triumph in the Colisseum and avenge Marcus Aurelius’ death? I think she’s got an even better chance than Russell Crowe did.

So, what movie inspires your workout?

I have to agree with Kelley H.’s choice: Kill Bill being on the top of the list, House of Flying Daggers too…and they’re not movies, but the Pride Fight and music videos (especially the Pussycat Dolls:)

  11. Gordon says:

    Kat,
thanks for the video clip. The lead actor said they trained 6 hours per day for 7 months to get into shape. I wished I had 6 hours to train, but I could only last one hour and rest for 5 hours.

    Steve,
When are we expecting a workout with that huge tire?

    Juliet,
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was originally a movie with Luke Perry.
