By the way, it was a stellar night for Echidna as he learned the proper mechanics for the overhead squat and more than doubled his dip record (from 6 to 13)!
Echidna was on fire last night! And the head was in normal proportions!
Echidna, Gordon, and Mani–the three of you had the right chemistry for technical training last night. I’m still cracking up at Gordon pointing out how much Echidna’s form had improved within 15 minutes. …and when Gordon squatted 105lbs. overhead for multiple reps, this Momma practically had a tear in her eye! Don’t get me started on Kat and Brenda’s first dip either or I’ll really lose it!
The overhead squat is deceivingly hard.

Gordon, YOU’RE THE BOMB! Wow, I know you could’ve done more last night…but you held back ’cause you were being humble. And you’re definetly ready to do the clean and jerk for record.

How do you make that look so easy? You guys look like you could sit like that all day.
In case you don’t know, Echidna has a great L-sit too. I think his head provides the ideal amount of counter-balance to his legs.
Or maybe it’s just that he’s tough as nails (which he is).
Don’t make me choose between cheering for Shari and cheering for Echidna. I can’t do it. Especially when they both look terrified. Or determined, not sure which. It’s the dynamic duo of analytical fighters.

Watching the IC blog right now is like staring at pictures of cake while on a fast.
It’s fear. I was fine until the camera came out. You know how much I love the camera.
